True friendships require a lot of work. Not too long ago me and my bestfriend were in a fight for possibly the most rididulous reason. It wasn't one of those fights where one of us did something wrong but it was more or less not listening and caring about one another's problems because we were so wraped up in ourself and what we had going on. I was dating someone new and she was battling with her coach and I just felt that my problem were more important. One day while I was talking with my mom I realized that I hadn't been the best friend that I needed to be. I should have put aside my problems for a little while and listen to what she had to say and tell her that I felt like she wasn't listening. Now everything is fine since we had that great talk and we are better friends for it. :)
